On Sunday, April 9th, Local 63 Dispatcher Mike “Big Daddy” Carranza was honored at HBI’s 23rd Annual Cesar Chavez Labor Tribute held at the Double Tree Hotel, San Pedro.  Local 63 Secretary Adrian Diaz introduced Brother Carranza.  Also honored were retired Coast Committeeman Ray Ortiz, Jr., Local 94’s Gene Banday, Inland Boatmen’s Union’s (IBU) Sonia Fuentes, and Ironworkers Union’s Jimmy Weiler.
