On Thursday, May 6, Local 63 convened its first in-person Membership Meeting since March 2020 after which the COVID-19 pandemic began.

The meeting was a success with approximately 180 members in attendance. The meeting included new transfers being sworn in, IBU brothers speaking on their struggle to save jobs, and the Port of LA Director, Gene Seroka, thanking the ILWU for continuing to move cargo during the pandemic and breaking TEU records.
